General Job enhancements
Job Types¶
You can add and use your own Job Types for categorizing your jobs.
Job Planning Lines¶
To have more direct insights of the Job the Job Planning Lines subpage has been added to the Job Page: less clicking to consult the details of the planning lines.
Job Archive¶
For Jobs the archive functionality is added. Now it is even easier to restore a previous situation. The field No. of Archived Versions has been added, identical to Sales Quotes, Sales Orders etc. How to archive a version of your project? Just use the Archive Document function under the Actions menu.
Clicking on field No. of Archived Versions will open the Job Archive list.
With the option Restore you can restore the Job to a previously saved version.
Moving Planning Lines¶
Sometimes you created a planning line under the wrong task and you need to move it somewhere else. Without having to delete the line and creating a new one, with this functionality you can easily move a planning line.
Just go to Planning Lines subpage and select the line to be moved, click on Move Planning Lines …
And the line is copied! With this functionality you can also easily move more than one line to the correct place, just use the standard functionality to select multiple lines and start the functionality.
General Items and Resources¶
For Items and Resources we added General Items and General Resources. With this functionality you can easily create budget planning lines without having to specify the exact resource or make use of some kind of dummy resource. The same for items!
On the Resource/Item card the option General Resource/Item is added. This specifies whether the Resource/Item is general or not.
There are no features related to the General Item or Resource settings yet. Keep an eye on the Apportunix Roadmap for upcoming functionalities on this in the feature.
